At Goodhue County Habitat for Humanity, we believe in the power of community—and this summer, we saw that power in action through the incredible efforts of the AmeriCorps NCCC Maple 6 team. For eight weeks, spanning from July to September, this dedicated group of volunteers worked tirelessly alongside our Habitat staff and local volunteers, making monumental progress on our twin home project in Red Wing. Their contributions were not just about hammering nails or framing walls; they were about building a future for two deserving families.

They framed the basement and main floor, installed doorways, and set the trusses—transforming an empty foundation into a structure that is ready for the next phase of construction. The future homeowners, who have been working alongside our team, are now one step closer to the dream of owning their own home.
